Where Did the Clicks and Conversions Go

When click and conversion metrics don’t match up, the first suspicion is shaving. At IRENT, this scenario is impossible by design — we operate with full transparency, tracking every genuine click and conversion.

But if you dig deeper, discrepancies in stats usually stem from real technical issues. We’ve compiled the 4 most common scenarios and how to quickly diagnose and fix them.

2. Cloaking filters out clicks

Why this happens:
IRENT blocks bots and fraud, so only "clean" clicks remain in analytics.

What to do:
If the discrepancy is significant — contact support. We'll review cloaking logs and advise how to optimize the filter.

2. Domain Blocking

Why this happens:
The domain may be blocked locally by a country's regulator or globally by the domain registrar. In this case, some traffic simply doesn't reach its destination.

What to do:
Contact us — we'll check the domain status and, if necessary, replace it to ensure traffic flows without losses.

3. Conversions don't match affiliate program or tracker

Why this happens:
Our service's click_id isn't being passed correctly, or there's an issue with postback logic during conversions.

What to do:
Check postback settings in both tracker and affiliate program. If you can't spot the issue — support will assist with configuration.

4. Wrong conversion data in the source

Why this happens:
The source displays conversions with delay or processes redirects incorrectly.

What to do:
Check your redirect chain. If the issue persists — contact us for an audit.

Let’s summarize.

Data discrepancies may occur, but understanding their causes is crucial. Most issues can be resolved, and if you need additional help — contact our technical support.
